I am changing workplace. Can I return an annual travelcard?

There are differences between exchanging and returning.

a) Exchanging:

If you purchase a new regional travelcard, inter-regional travelcard, point-to-point travelcard or GA travelcard in place of the existing annual travelcard, the existing travelcard will be refunded or credited to you (to the precise day).

b) Returning:

If you return the existing travelcard without purchasing a new annual travelcard or GA travelcard at the same time, you will receive a percentage refund up to a usage period of 247 days according to the number of days used.
